The artist's personal catalogue of oil paintings includes 56 pictures dating from 1978-1987. These included landscapes in the Lake District, East Anglia, North Wales, Lancashire and Yorkshire. Favourite subjects included mountain and waterfall scenes, architectural studies and skies. His largest picture was of Hurstwood Hall, Burnley, commissioned by the owners in 1986/7 (see examples on this site).
